I have boarded my two dogs on and off for the last year, should I consider using a pet-sitter?

What service does PAPC provide to the customer?

We fulfill requests for caring for pets safely within their home. WE are available for up to four visits per day or an over night stay. Each visit is personalized, and is approximately 30 minutes long, depending upon the pet's requirements. 

We also offer errand service and house-sitting

We have three dogs and one will need medication. Can you give him his daily med?

Yes, We arrive at the correct time to administer all veterinarian prescribed medications. (Oral and injectable)

What we require is the veterinarians instruction and all medications in the original bottle. 

Our service works with you to customize a schedule that will best fit the needs of your pets.

Sammie is going to travel with us this time; would you stop at our house to check on things?

Yes, While you are away it is important to retain the lived in look.

We put out the trash bins for collection, check the grounds for wind and water damage, flyers, security lights, etc. and do a walk through to check that everything is intact and in working order.

We can come by as often as needed. Daily (recommended for older homes), every other day, twice a week or weekly.

The fee is the same as for pet sitting

My dog will be 14 this year, can you provide service for seniors?

If your dog is feeling unwell it is best you do not leave them for very long. They need YOU by their side. 

If they are able to walk on their own, and just maybe require an extra visit or two we can accommodate you.

Dogs are classified as seniors at about eight years of age. Senior dogs have different needs. Although they need exercise they require less and less as they age. In turn, they will require less food or a type made special for seniors.

Most do very well when left at home to follow the usual routine. We find that as they age more time, or even help is needed for them to stand, walk, & eat. We give the time it takes for them to accomplish needed tasks and monitor each one.  

If there are issues, talk to your veterinarian about ways you can ease them. One common problem, with dogs and cats, is painful joints. Taking good care of your pet's joint health is crucial as they age. 

Does your service work on a as needed basis? We like to take our two small dogs with us, but will have to leave them behind at home on occasion.

We understand that taking your dogs to different places and exposing them to different types of situations early on helps to develop confidence. It is great that you like to bring them along. Keep in mind that you should also leave them at home on a regular basis, so they can become familair with stay at home routines, without seperation anxiety issues. This will always help make the transition better for them when it is necessary for them to stay behind.

Can you stay with my pets longer? I am usually home with my pets, so I don't like them to be alone for very long.

Most days, we are available to provide a longer stay. We offer a VIP Package for $120 per day. This will assure 24 hour coverage for your pets, and they will not be left alone for more than four consecutive hours.

We do not hire outside help, but do have another professional pet-sitter as a back-up when needed.

I don't have time to pick up food for our cat and we may run low. Can you stop at the store to get some?

Yes, I have no problem with stopping at a store to get anything that is needed for your pet. I have an errand service in place at $10 per errand. I can add the fee for this service to your bill along with the purchase price of each item.
